Getting to Luna Park Sydney

Parking: Luna Park has on-site parking for 389 car spaces. Maximum vehicle height is 1.9 metres. Parking fees apply per 24 hour period and are as follows:

  • 0-1 HOUR – $8
  • 1-2 HOURS – $15
  • 2-3 HOURS – $30
  • 3+ HOURS – $49

Entry and exit times:

  • Entry: 7am – 12am
  • Exit: 7am – 3am

Car: driving takes about 25 minutes in light traffic, if coming from Sydney Airport. 

  • Driving from the Warringah Expressway: take the North Sydney exit and then follow signs to Kirribilli. Proceed down Broughton Street, turn right into Fitzroy Street and left at roundabout into Alfred Street South. Turn right into Dind Street, left for Northcliff Street to entry the Luna Park Car Park located at the bottom of the street.
  • Driving north over Sydney Harbour Bridge: take the first exit on left after the bridge (do NOT come via Harbour Tunnel). At the first round about, turn right onto Dind Street, then taking the first left turn at Northcliff Street for the Luna Park Car Park.

Taxi and rideshare: Lavender Bay (North Sydney) is a short, 20-25 minute ride away from the airport and will cost about $55 one way. You’ll find taxi ranks at the front of all terminals at Sydney Airport – simply follow the signs to the nearest ranks. Uber and many other ride sharing platforms also service Sydney.

Train: Luna Park is a 3 minute walk from Milsons Point train station. If coming from Sydney Airport, trains run approximately every 10 minutes and take around 15mins to get to Central Train Station. 

Trains leave to/from Central, Town Hall and Wynyard every 5 minutes during peak time. The North Shore, Western and Northern lines all pass through Milsons Point. Pedestrian access is via Alfred Street South, or Olympic Drive.

Ferry: Milson’s Point Wharf is situated right in front of the Luna Park face! F3 and F4 Ferries regularly alight from Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. It’s a scenic 5 minute trip, allowing you to take in all of the spectacular sights of Sydney Harbour!

Matilda run direct services to Luna Park on board the Rocket Express. Ferry and ride packages are available by visiting one of Matilda’s Ticket Offices at Pier 26 Darling Harbour, King St Wharf 4 or Jetty 6 Circular Quay.
